The ball in the maze game is swallowed or placed up a nose

The ball in the maze game of our Bubble World products is considered a small part, and a choking hazard by UL standards. However, its size has been tested and certified to pass through the trachea. The material of the ball can be detected by x-ray in case it becomes lodged up a nose or placed in another orifice.

Are Dulcop’s Bubbles Safe?

We take great care to adhere to all the latest industry safety standards, and pride ourselves on going above and beyond them. Our bubble solution is non-toxic and uses top-notch ingredients. Our automated production line discards products that fail to meet our standards.

What is the Recommended Age?

We believe bubbles are for everyone – children and adults alike! While safe to have and play around infants and small toddlers, we recommend three years and older for independent play.

Do Bubbles Expire?

Our bubbles do not expire. Both the solution and the bottles are designed to withstand extreme temperatures (122°F and -22°F). Once opened, we recommend using the product in a short time span in order to get the best performance from the bubble solution. But no harm will come to you if you don’t!

What are UV-Reactive Bubbles?

UV-Reactive Bubbles, like those found in our Burst Party line, are specially formulated to glow under black lights. Black lights emit long wave ultraviolet light and not much visible light, allowing one to observe fluorescence. Not to be confused with glow-in-the-dark technology. These bubbles can be used without black lights, but will not have their purplish-blue fluorescent glow unless used with a black light.

What is the EC Type Certificate?

This is the highest level of certification achievable in Europe, and issued only by a notified body. The EC Type verifies all regulatory, technical, health, and safety standards as set by the Directive are met during the production process. To our knowledge, Dulcop is the only bubble manufacturer to receive this important certificate.

What is TUV Certification?

TÜV Rheinland Product Safety and Quality Certification marks show that our products have met applicable safety requirements and quality standards. Our production plant and products have been investigated by an accredited third party, which also carries out regular surveillance audits.

What is Kathon?

Kathon is a highly irritating preservative and powerful allergen. Even though not required by law, Dulcop does not use this harmful chemical in our products. For us, safety and concern for our customers always comes first. Unfortunately, other bubble manufacturers still use kathon to kill bacteria. Always check to make sure the bubbles you use, even if not ours, are kathon free.

What is CLP Regulation?

We manufacture soap bubbles that are already in compliance with the new Standards required by the European Commission’s CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging), in force since June 2015, which relate to eye and skin irritating substances. CLP-Regulation (EC No 1272/2008) replaces the previous rules of substances (Directive 67/548/EEC) and preparations (Directive 1999/45/EC). EC regulations are stricter than US regulations, ensuring our products are safe for our American customers.

Still have questions or concerns?

CAP

Our caps are factory-sealed with a safety shrink band so customers can be certain to take home unopened bottles, and stores can avoid slippery floors. Just another way Dulcop ensures the quality and safety of its 60 ml (2.03 fl.oz.) bubble bottles.

MAZE GAME

In our Bubble World brand, each cap has a colorful, translucent top with a maze game for added fun. Created by Dulcop in the 1970s, this is a distinctive mark of Dulcop’s bottles for kids. There are 18 designs in total, ranging from modes of transportation to animals, symbols, and more. Kids will enjoy collecting them all, and the maze game will help them develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as they work to get the ball home.

WAND

Our wand is conveniently attached to the cap – no need to hook your finger in the solution to fish it out! This allows for cleaner play and a sturdy grasp while blowing bubbles. A large and a small circle allow for different-sized bubbles with every blow.

BUBBLE SOLUTION

We produce 32 tons of soap bubble solution daily, and each batch is tested internally and externally by an independent and accredited institution. Our solution has a pleasant lily-of-the-valley smell, and is made with the same purified micro-filtered water used in cosmetics.

Our R&D department conducts constant research in innovative soap bubble solution composition in order to lower skin and eye irritation levels. Our products exclude dangerous preservatives, such as Kathon, and we aim to use more and more natural ingredients every year.

Our Burst Party line also has a UV Reactive solution, causing the bubbles to glow under black lights. This solution meets all of the same rigorous testing as our normal solution, and is super fun at parties!

BOTTLE

The shape of our bubble bottle is a 3D registered trademark in Europe – an ideal design that’s sturdy and perfect for both smaller and larger hands. Every aspect of our 60 ml (2.03 fl.oz.) bottles are 100% sourced and made in Italy. Our bottles and bubble solution are safe even if stored at extreme temperatures.

LABEL

Our labels show all the compulsory warnings in English and Spanish. Bubble World has fun, colorful designs, while Burst is sleek and stylish.

BATCH NUMBER

The batch number is laser printed on the bottom of the bottles, making them traceable in any emergency situation.

We send 1 sample per batch (1,800 samples per year) for external tests run by an independent agency. For comparison, industry standard is 1 test every 3 years. Additionally, a counter-sample of every batch is kept in our factory for 5 years. Our integrated system of tests and traceability ensures we have certificates for each batch, which are available for customers upon request.

CERTIFICATIONS

We are 100% committed to quality and safety standards. All of our products undergo a rigorous testing process. Dulcop International produces under ISO 9001:2008 (Certificate IIP nr.302) and is certified by UL. Additionally, our soap bubbles have obtained the TUV Certificate as well as the EC Type Certificate, which is the highest level of certification for safety standards of products achievable in Europe. Our products are regularly subjected to testing by the Italian Institute for Toy Safety.

Our company has become the largest manufacturer of soap bubbles in Europe, thanks in part to our innovative automated systems, which allow for one of the highest production capacities in the world. Our fully-automated production line goes through nearly 4 million controls a day.
